I don't think SORBS was your main problem. The other spamtrap list you
are using went offline over 4 years ago:

You are getting false positive results from that list and should
definitely remove it.

Alpine (formerly PINE) does all of this and a lot more:

Thunderbird is also a good option if you want a GUI, but not so light on
memory.
You may want to check out Mulberry as well. It's quite old but was one
of the best IMAP clients of its time:
