Did anything happen with this? I.e. did a plug-in ever get developed?
Cheers

I am using the material app on my PC (Windows 11). The BBC Sounds Icon
is not showing properly. However if I use material through my web
browser I get the new BBC Sounds icon.
But as you predicted, 4.8.0 also has the problem, then this has been
ticked off.
So you're saying that the issue is ongoing? I'd probably remove the
credentials.json file from the spotty folder inside LMS' cache folder.
Then re-authenticate.

Tried thatno change
If I chose only 1 track from spotify...then it seems to try to play for
approx 2
Then reason for those many connections in earlier logs is that I chose a
whole playlist and in that case it simply jumps to next track after 2
secs
Did you enable that fallback option introduced in .1?

LMS/Spotty plugin seems to struggel to keep streaming.
I got Spotty.debug output in the log (added
log44perl.logger.plugin.spotty = debug to ./prefs/log.conf)
To play a single track there might be 20-50 entries in the log like

No need to edit that file: there's a UI for this :-).

What I still don't understand is whether you'd get any playback at all,
any audio. When you say "plays 1-3

SPT setting... ?
Not quite clear for me...
If you are talking about Spotty filetype settings on that page ?
Ogg Vobis is set for spotty-86_64, can be either deactivated or that
setting
Deactivate it for a test.
Getting only a few seconds of audible sound is something I haven't seen
before. Unl

I've noticed that the default player after coming out of sleep is the
first player in the drop down list instead of the player that was
selected before sleep. Is it possible to retain the current selected
player coming out sleep?
