Hi again,
After a little more testing I have deleted the album from my 'library'
and then re-added it and the tracks not working no longer appear in
either screen, so I'm not sure how they got there before. All seems to
be working as expected.

I'm very new to spotify and only signed up this week. I'm finding that
tracks are always being played in an album and I just get a
'Connecting' message. From my basic tests I see that when using the LMS
web page a reduced list of tracks appears (via the 3rd party plugin)

Sure it would work. I use the app Splashtop. But I do not think muso is
designed for a touch screen. I would recommend iPeng if you want to
control your Squeezeboxes from an iThing (or SqueezePad if you get an
iPad).

Obviously the Touch was caching - I did a hard restart and it lost the
menu too. The work-round (which is quite easy since I have the xml) is
to re-create the menu by hand and then delete the old one (moving the
xml file in and out of the folder with restarts in between had no
effect).

Ah...you were right, Database Query was right there under Extras. I
noticed "Choose a data query to run," and clicked on one of the
options and the GUI showed it was Connecting.
This Connecting went on for some time, and my connection to my
VortexBox Appliance was lost. After a while I

If it's like SQL Playlists, you find the predefined ones and set up new
ones in the WebUI--from the Home menu, under Extras. If they're not
there, I'm sure Erland will point you in the right direction when he
comes around.

But don't worry, I've spotted the "All Songs" option at the top of the
list. It's just a slightly different UI method to "normal" Squeezebox &

Nothing strange in the log except for the scanning errors in the
beginning. Have you tried to restart the Touch, I've seen cases where
it really has cached menus and shown them until I've restarted it.

a remote desktop connection to your windows PC using an app something
like Team Viewer (which I believe is free) and running muso from the

official Spotify app or Triode's plugin. With the official app on
selecting a track it just says "connecting" - nothing happens and a
message "Stream failed (restarting Spotify app)" appears on my Touch.

Doesn't Erland's Database Query plugin do this? I know the SQL Playlists
plugin will let you easily create playlists for these stats. For the
last few days, I have been playing recently added but never played
songs using SQL playlists.

Mostly I want to use the Triode App for Spotify as it is more feature
rich and it allows SqueezePlay to use it. However, all our devices use
our Touch's TinySC as a fallback "library" when all the PCs are off, as
a better alternative to MySB.
