Thanks, the problem seems to be related to all the lines in the log

One more question for you pippin: I guess I had never noticed that
iPeng was an actual app in SqueezeServer. Has it always been an
app/plugin? What would happen if you tried to use iPeng without the
app active in SqueezeServer?

My experience has been much like Jens'. Technically, the fix does work

Softsqueeze on the mac can find my cd library by name without me telling

Hello,
How do I delete an old/unused music source (server)? I seem to
remember doing this by accident in the past, but the interface appears
to have changed. I see how to *change* music source, but not remove

Yup, that fixed it. I'm attaching a new Big Clock config. I re-arranged
the layout better, and made all the text bold.

The usual one are ports 3483 TCP & UDP and port 9000 TCP.
Servers discovery uses broadcast packets and these are often filtered
by firewalls as well.
If it is a broadcast packet issue, have you tried using the IP address
of the server in Softsqueeze settings ?

Yes I have several other players working on the same network. Any idea
what may need to be looked at on the mac?

That's exactly what I would do: genres (or if you get REALLY anal and
create 'mood' tags and use CustomScan to read them in... since they're
not -really-
I'm trying to generate a dynamic playlist which selects at random from a
small group of artists.
This seems easy to do using the SQL / Dynamic Playlist plugin if Genres
are used - there are a number of playlist templates available which
allow 'radio buttons' to be set to select the wanted genre
working a-ok now.
Thanks guys!

I've just posted 5.9.1, it should resolve the infinite '*' issue with
5.9.0. Basically there was an undefined variable issue that would only
surface if there are no display items to cycle through (stocks, sports,

Please let me know if you still have the issue with this release.

If your server PC firewall is blocking connections then no player will
work with your server. Assuming you have an SB player working with your
PC server and if your Mac is on the same WLAN as your PC then it is
likely the problem is on the Mac and not the server PC.

Hi Triode,
I saw Listen Again fail on my SC 7.3 server. I updated the plugin but
the last one I can update to is v 1.1 it seems.
I unchecked AAC streams and got Listen Again to work.
Anything I can on my side do to get AAC streams on SC7.3.4 ?
Thanks.
