I had not exactly the same issue, but similar behavior this was due to
"Auto recognition" in the network my player just connected to the
Server immediately when it was up. had to deactivate it in the server
settings maybe it is the same?

According to my notes, I did some correction related to "&", "[", "]"
and "'" characters in the TrackStat 2.9 release which I suspect is
related to this. Unfortunately the last version that works with SBS
7.3.x and earlier is 2.8. So the bad news is that this won't be
corrected in a version compat
I just wondered if there is a reason for not having a server context
menu, like the player context menu, with info and settings related to
the server. Having such context menus seems so logical and intuitive
that I am sure you have already considered this.

Meh. So I moved all my CLI queries to Json, yet today I had another
occurrence of players not completely disconnecting from mySB...
Changed my code to give the local status priority, and also in case a
player is declared by the SBS server on both sides (mySB, SC) for more

Your numerous barbed PM's are very hurtful. Since when did Squeezebox
owners have a monopoly on logical thought and common sense? If success
means having a Porsche parked outside, I've got two.

I'd like to use the Duet controller to send IR commands to my stereo,

Thank you erland for your help, I'll try this one day.

Neil Potter's XM plugin stopped working for me yesterday -- both at home
(SBS 7.3) and at the office (7.4).
I could get a login at home (but XM nonetheless did not play) but not
at the office.

I've been testing Version 2.10 and it seems to be fixed now. There is a
roadmap on the www.spicefly.com site that mentions the problem.

I just want to say that erland's plugins make my squeezebox life so much
better so thanks a lot for the work you do. I'm having an issue with
Play Count/Rating/LTP being not updated for certain tracks and I think
it has to do with special characters such as &. There was another
thread on this bu
I'm not sure how the BBCiPlayer logic works, but might it be better to
switch AAC and WMA in the setup? - so "use Flash AAC" becomes "use WMA"
and "prefer WMA" becomes "prefer Flash AAC". WMA seems to be a more
reliable default stream as it synchronises better between Squeezebox
devices, and is mo
The CDDA2WAV application works on Linux, OSX and Windows so some of its
text output is misleading.
CDDA2WAV does scan for devices IDE interfaces (aka AT interface) as
well as USB and SATA. If your CD device does not show up on "scanbus"
then there is something strange/special with your system
