The biggest problem I've seen with those photo frames is that most do
not support having pictures "pushed" to them. Not only that, but
there's usually very little pre-sales documentation on how frequently
they will "pull" from the network. Nobody wants a Now Playing display
that could be minutes b

I'm having two problems using the plugin under SC 7.0 on Linux:
- Channel 26 (TopFlight) doesn't play. All other channels seem to work
fine.
- I can see the plugin in SqueezeCenter, but it'
na da hat wohl keiner eine Idee. So richtig stabil läuft es als Service
im Hinergrund scheinbar auch nicht. Was auch nicht verwundert, dazu ist
wohl eine jar sound-Anwendung nicht gemacht.

Is it possible to directly enter a tag or an artist as in the Flash
last.fm interface directly from the infrared remote? I am asking this
because my PC is generally off and the SqueezeCenter is hosted on an
headless/fanless mini-itx machine. Thanks!

I see on the plug in page it says version 1.1.1 , 2.0 .
But when I download it, the file is the 1.1.1 and not 2.0 .
I'm trying to get this set up w/SC7 and the 1.1.1 will not take.

I did delete the yaml file and also set the plugin logging correctly..

Only Radio 1 provides track info and that is part of a Flash player and
not easy to access.
Other more detailed "What's On" BBC information can be got using the
Info Browser by installing the Info browser addons. Radio 3 provides
good program listing.

I understand what is happening when using IE. IE by default will
download the zip file and recompress it again in GZIP format. A format
for which MS has not provided a decoder !!
To unpack the IE downloaded file - rename the extension to GZ and then
download something like WinRAR or WinZIP to un
a few months ago i had live365 playing ok with my slimserver now it wont
work so i decided to create a new user name and password on the live365
website everything plays ok on their website so went into my slimserver
settings then down to live365 were i put all the details in the clicked

This usually happens if using IE. If using IE - simple answer - use
Firefox. Alternatively if you can persuade IE just to download and
save it (i.e. not open) - then rename the file to a zip extension but
make sure extension are visible.

FYI downloaded BBCLiveplus.zip twice, and each time got the error
message saying "The compressed (zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted"
at the momemt of starting to extract the zip. Bug? Regards = John

That's not enough. Please delete plugin-data.yaml from your SC's cache folder
and try again. And please set logging for server.plugins to debug, and make it
sticky before restarting SC.

This is an unoffical mod. Beta - please test and comment.
The mod displays the current and Next program info and also while
playing changes the Alien icon to the BBC station logo. In code terms
- only one file of standard AlienBBC is changed - RTSP.pm.

In fact it wasn't only CLI, but any plugin which actually can't be disabled
(CLI, Favorites, Sc
Turning off the API in the user interface would have been the key thing
that sorted the problem out. If you are trying to use MIP headless,
the API needs to be free to communicate with the headless server.
