Why are redundant and oddly named
items like the following displayed in my playlist.
For instance.
1. Camera Obscura - Keep It Clean
2. (#2 - 447/17780) SomaFM presents: Indie Pop Rocks! [SomaFM]
3. (#3 - 14/15) SomaFM presents: Indie Pop Rocks! [SomaFM]
4. (#4 - 10/10) SomaFM presents: Indi
I'm curious regarding the display of items in Shoutcast both on the
device and in the web interface. Why are redundant and oddly named
items like the following displayed in my playlist.
For instance.
1. Camera Obscura - Keep It Clean
2. (#2 - 447/17780) SomaFM presents
If you edit mplayer.sh to remove the " 2> /dev/null" from the end of the
two kill lines, what does the output say when you stop a stream?

This is doing two conversions in a manner which will cause the server
more work [and didn't work for me]
Could you try enabling rtsp->flc or dissabling wav->flc in server
settings - file types.
What it happening at present it a pipe line is being create with the
server transfering the dat
Could you post the output of the server with --d_source when you play a
stream.
You should get 2 mplayer.sh and 2 mplayer processes [each spawns
another, but they should then kill each other on exit]

1) The Server's Plug-ins webpage should show plug-in version numbers.
This would make for easier plug-in identification and problem
analysis.
2) The plug-ins wiki page shows dates next to each plug-in. If this

OK, I need some help. I follow the instructions to install the latest
Alien BBC, but I am unclear WHERE to install the mplayer and codecs. I
tried them in "library/" and "usr/bin/" but neither seemed to work.
Also, can someone detail exactly how to tell mplayer where I have
placed the codecs...
