Though CentOS 7 attempt made me aware of lack of awareness, it did not go past
certain steps of install w.r.t. using previous partitions.
Linux Mint has decided to live along Mageia 6 (which is broken) and gone ahead
with installing files... Install cleaner than CentOS.

When it comes to activating networking via wired or WiFi Mageia mostly does it
towards the end of install and reduces chances of recovery...
CentOS as well as Linux Mint allow activation of WiFi/net before proceeding
with (even partitioning) install and it ensures a better approach to install.
