Hi all,
Has anybody tried out KDE 4.1 ? I had tried 4.0 (the one which
comes with F9), and it did not work well for me.
Wished to know about any first hand experiences using 4.1. Is it worth
moving to ? any appreciable improvement in stability and speed ?

What about all the plug-ins and extensions?
Most of them are available for 2.x or below.

I have Better Gmail, Forecastfox, FoxClocks, and PDFCreator Toolbar.
None needed to be upgraded and all work as before. Looks like backward
compatibility has been ensured.

yes, It is much more responsive ad faster that v2.
memory consumption is low but as much as told.

One can read and write into Marathi websites properly.
Adobe flash player required to view youtube etc is not working.

Here is what I see on "About mozilla firefox"

This was updated (auto) for me a week back or
It works perfectly fine if you download and install flash player 9.0 all
over again. Atleast, it works for me.
