Yeh 9.1 comes with 2.6; what I meant was that the drivers I got with
the NIC were for 2.4.x and 2.2.x, not for 2.6.x.

I won't say I found SuSE 9.1 less stable than 9.0, but it didn't
support my PCI network card, which 9.0 supported fine. Infact, when I
had 9.0 installed on one partition, and 9.1 installed on other. As
soon as I installed 9.1, my NIC stopped responding! I tried Ping.
