Hi!
Which laptop is the best one to invest if I want to run GNU/Linux,
perferably Debian sarge?
I would also like to know if anyone in the group has tv tuner card
connected to laptop and running it without any problems? If so what is
the make of the laptop and the card?

Welcome to the "real" world ;-)!!!
as you have already found out, the best way is to start installing it
in the house. I would recomment Red Hat to start with, or may be
Debian. I personally love Debian. The learning curve can be more in
the case of Debian.

ops, is this a html problem or more than that?!
I think the problem is, these directories doesnt exist in the virtual
directory of your server. You will have to add and change the access
permissions accordingly. But yeah, think about the security before
doing this.
