Hello All, Thanks to Sumeet I have Suse 9.1 but even after I install hsfmodem rpm from Linuxant and do a /usr/sbin/hsfconfig....modem recognised but kppp starts with you have no permission for pppd as user error and asks to set guid for kppp also it complains about /etc/resolv.conf not present. The second I can solve but how to solve first problem. Googling has resulted in trying to chmod pppd but I don't thing that is asked for here. On my Pcq2004 kppp starts as user and asks for root passwd. How to get same behaviour from suse for kppp. Also a warning for all..if you use generic hsfmodem driver for suse it leads to a lot of errors like /dev/null permission denied!
