Well if you are looking for linux compatibility just pop in a latest
Knoppix CD and check what all runs on it. Its simple test, dosen't
take much time, and you get to know the things that are supported.

Where is HCL shop in Pune located.
HCL website either is down or not responding. I am unable to use web
to locate any outlets in Pune.
Might try BOSS Linux on it if the prospective owner allows
