Currently, I don't have /usr on a separate partition. My / partition is 5GB
and almost full. I want to move /usr (which sums up to 3.6 GB of my /

packages, not just the KDE desktop, which include complete kde
applications

I was trying to install Umbrello ( for UML diagrams
) on Mandrake 10.1 running KDE, but during
./configure, it gave the error message : 'the
important program makekdewidgets is not installed,
check your kde installation.'. Later when I wanted to
install a later version of KDE ( I'm using 3.2
