Please update ifupdown to 0.7.50 and test if that fixes your problem.
Hello, with ifupdown 0.7.51, the problem is still there.
Note that I'm still with systemd 208-8. I'm still kind of afraid to move
to 215-8 due to bugs which look related with nvidia cards.

/run/systemd/generator/dev-disk-by\x2duuid-4da077e7\x2db024\x2d475d\x2d913d\x2d18fa1ac70a39.swap
that says its generated by the fstab generator.
The other files are non-swap mounts
Seems like its working!

You can look at the generated unit in /run/systemd/generator/*.mount.
The first line is a comment saying which generator produced it.

I installed your packages and rebooted my machine twice. Judging by the
boot messages, I think it worked. There is no fail status.
However, is there anyway to double check whether it used the fstab mount
instead of the gpt auto generator?

You may want to use "cruft" (or my rewrite cruft-ng in the NEW queue)
to find files that are in /usr but are unknown to dpkg.

This issue is fixed by installing adjtimex and acpi_pm as clocksource, the
interval now increases exponentially.

I checked my system and discovered files from a previous local build from three
years ago in /usr/bin.
After removing all this old systemd files and reinstallingsystemd this issue is
fixed.
This bug can be closed.
