I tried just now libav from experimental (version 10~beta1-2) and rendered webm
video seems to have no such problem in Firefox browser.

I think I got the same bug here; no playlist visible, but the backtrace looks
similar.
That's "gdb --args vlc /directory/ -vvv" on amd64; it's more or less

Is that the correct package?
It "just works" (no warnings, no segfault!) with libdbus-1.4.1, so I'd think
that it's libdbus related.
