Package: libva1
Version: 1.7.1-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Dear all,
after today's upgrade of all packages, including all the va related
to 1.7.1-1, my intel-based laptop started behaving strangly:
* color artefacts (flashing pop colors) on screen
* redrawing of appl
f cmd line progs and libs in
Debian. It is too long that this sad and useless split was made.

Severity: important
Hi everyone,
I just tried mplayer2 and many files I tried the audio output is like
electronic noise, screetching and squeezing, nothing is recognizable.
It seems that all the mp3 audio embedded videos I tried exhibit this
pattern, but oth

We should be *grateful* to Marillat for doing that work!!! ANd I as
a Debian Developer am *really* happy that he is doing that!
Best wishes

PS A simple solution would have been adding conflicts against the
packages as provided by marillat ... that would have helped everyone
and kept a
her way use packages from marillat.
Anyway, I have "downgraded" to working packages and hope yours will
take a reasonable version number. But actually I don't care for them.
Enjoy
