We have the same problem in Ubuntu, and applying the qy4-fixes patch
from Jindrich fix it.
I'll try to get the fix uploaded once I discover how to update the git
repository.

The patch attached in this bugreport (i.e 654395) fix the segfault and
will be mark as done in next upload. We are facing FTBFS on debian archs
other than i386 and x86_64 (see bug 65442
