2007-12-21 Thread Bernd Zeimetz
Hi Andrew, I've uploaded gpsd 2.36~dev+r4603-1 to experimental a few minutes ago, which should contain a fix to support the output of GSA sentences when the Garmin USB driver is used. Please test it and let me know if it works as expected. Thanks, Bernd -- Bernd Zeimetz <[EMAIL P

[DebianGIS-dev] Bug#524042: gosmore: build-dep on libgps-dev not needed anymore

2009-04-14 Thread Bernd Zeimetz
Package: gosmore Version: 0.0.0.20080704-1 Severity: normal Hi, gosmore doesn't use libgps anymore, instead they connect to gpsd manually and try to parse NMEA data. So the dependency on libgps-dev should be dropped. Also you should tell your upstream that *not* using libgps and trying to parse

libraries *and* letting libnetcdf6 just depend on it breaks packages using the libraries - and I would guess it doesn't even show up as transition target. Please revert that change or remove libnetcdf6 after having a proper transition to the splitted packages. -- Bernd Ze
