does it work if you do
sudo sh -c 'echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/ipv6/bindv6only'
before starting josm?
If yes then you have hit

that I could test new version before it enters unstable?
Building josm and josm-plugins from upstream seems somewhat tricky. If
