Package: cl-asdf
Version: 2:3.1.4-1
Severity: normal
Dear all,
I just found a problem due to both sbcl and cl-asdf being installed
on my system while building cafeobj (an interpreter built on-top
a CL interpreter, we are using sbcl).
The warning message lists something about *POLICY& and
there i
will be fix when we release 3.1.5 (RSN).
I guess then that the actual bug is in sbcl, which should have been
uploaded with
Breaks: cl-asdf (<< 3.1.5)
or similar.
Thanks and all the best

is that the packaging of sbcl needs be updated.

Reassigned.
Thanks.

The bug was reported on 02-26, the last fixed upload was 03-05.
Can you please confirm with the sbcl people whether this is still
a problem or not.

Attached is a second version which is a bit simpler, following
the advice of Gavin to use \gdef here.
le extracted from the sbcl sources that shows
the effect:
\input texinfo @c -*-texinfo-*-
@iftex
@macro cl{name}
{@smallertt@phantom{concurrency:}@llap{cl:}}\name\
@end macro
@end iftex
Some text
@tindex @cl{built-in-class}
foo bar baz
@printindex tp

irm.
Thanks a lot for your quick help, Gavin!

e you are offline.
The good thing about having testing versions *now* in unstable is that
we can help the developer to fix portability issues!

Thanks, great, arrived in the repo.

ggestion above, it would be the easiest and most clean,
and most common in general development practice, to have some kind of
API version that is bumped.

Which is a relevant speed-up, considering there are old computers where
this needs to be multiplied with a factor of 10 or more (embedded
devices etc including!).
ALl the best and thanks again for your explanations and help

e main "compiler" is triggered when depending packages
are installed.
If this is the plan I can help setting up such a layout in clisp.

Indeed, that is the better solution. Thanks to e
