LED is not needed any more, because pil21 uses the GNU readline()
library, which is configured to Vi or Emacs mode via ~/.inputrc.
EDIT may be still useful for structure editing (done by Vip in pi
VIM User by Alex, and have been adapted to
Emacs Users by me:
