ok I develop stuff on both windoze and linux so say I left my computer
running and forgot which it was running and wanted to make a OS specific

I'm a clueless newbie who just downloaded php-4.3.0-Win32 to Win 98, and am
having multiple problems.
1. When I click on the manual's test program ("Hello World") in IE 6.0, it
brings up a MSDOS box, rather than execute the php file. I can't find
anything in the manual that says how to get a php f
OK, Scratch problem 4.
I just found out that my host requires a .php3 extension to get to the v. 3
server.
I hope the other 2 problems can be solved so simply.
