Just for everyone's information, the problem was that the PHP Informix driver
(php_ifx.dll) was dependent on Informix Client SDK (one particular dll named
isqlt09a.dll) which was a 64 bit DLL as 64 bit client SDK for Informix was
installed on the machine and that was getting picked up resulting

Why do you have a "C:\PHP\" and a "C:\Program Files\PHP\" directories?
It really should be one or the other.
The date on the libmysql.dll should be the same as the other two dlls as
they are part of the same PHP install. I would leave it in the PHP base
directory too.

Have you installed the MS SQL libraries. You need to install a client
install of the Microsoft SQL libraries on the machine that PHP is
installed. Generally, you can accommplish this by installing Enterprise
Manager on that machine or you can install the libraries manually.

I've tried both ways, i.e. include the dir in the path and replace the dll,
but same error.
I just discovered one thing, one of the extensions, php_imap.dll, seems to
be loaded sucessufully. The error only seems to happend for php_gettext.dll
only.

I had the same problem though all path-entries were correct. It seems
that some of the dll's are broken. I changed the given php_gd.dll for a
php_gd.dll that I downloaded form the net and see: It works !!!

One possibility is that the dll you are pointing at, has not been compiled
with your current PHP version.
