Dear NG,
I have developped a small PHP application under W98, PWS and PHP 4.3.0.
Trying to call the PHP modules on my real website i get error message:
PHP Fatal error: Unable to open /php_test.php in Unknown on line 0
The URL in the browsers shows
internet //myweb/php_t
Anyone running 4.3.0 as a CGI see PHP occassionally output chunks of
HTML to the visible page? Refreshing usually gets rid of them, but its
very interesting to say the least

So...
WIll gif support ever be available on win32? Can a patched gd.dll be found
somewhere with readonly gif support or will we have to re-install php when
the binary is updated? I've been (patiently) waiting for this since GD1.6.
Thanks,
Brian

Hrm.. Whoever built the Windows binary didn't define HAVE_GD_GIF_READ I
guess. Or perhaps it should go into main/config.w32.h.in assuming we are
always going to build the windows binary against the bundled gd library.

hi all, i thought php 4.3 was ment to have read-only access to gif images?
all i get via phpinfo(); is:
GD Support enabled
GD Version bundled (2.0 compatible)
FreeType Support enabled
FreeType Linkage with freetype
JPG Support enabled
PNG Support enabled
WBMP Support enabled
This sounds like you are using the CLI version of PHP.exe and not the CGI
version. Asumiong you are not using isapi or mod_php4.

Umm... I see things, You know?
After installing php 4.3.0 I noticed that phpinho()
doesn't return those fancy tables anymore, instead, it spits out pure text
with newlines. Is it just my case (maybe some config problems?)
Would anyone mind trying out phpinfo() on php 4.3.0 for win32?
thx in adv
Hello, I just tried to install PHP 4.3.0 with Apache 1.3.27 on my Win XP
computer exactly as it is told in the installation file that is online
and included in the zip file and I get the following error:
