Is anyone using 4.2.3 as an ISapi module?
All the documentation still says unstable but it hasnt changed in years. Is it now
stable?

Over the past few months I've slowly worked on implementing ISAPI and NSAPI

Subject: [PHP-WIN] ISAPI
Hi everyone,
I was wondering wheter it is now safe to use the ISAPI module of 4.1 on
an IIS 5.0 server? I tried it with 4.0.2 and had consistent problems
because of some thread issues (I think at least). Also, in the past I've
always been discouraged from using the ISAPI filter, since it was held
I'm currently using PHP 4.1.0 and ISAPI module under IIS 5.0, W2K Server and
I have no problem.
Some differences between ISAPI and CGI, ISAPI doesn't recognize
$REMOTE_USER. I use the new $_SERVER["REMOTE_USER"] instead. It works !

ISAPI is for the Microsoft web server, IIS. You need the apache module

if isapi get's stable (and it will become) the prefered sapi should be
isapi, since it's alot faster than the apache (1.x) with the php module.
da
definitely mod_php.
apache is easy to configure, and you get most of the
functionality of *nix mod_php.

Since I don't always get my way Apache/PHP on Windows is good.

Management Console and I had to reboot the server to restart IIS, I decided
it was the worst solution for any problem

The Apache module seems to cut it for production environments from what I
hear (no direct personal experience).

Is there a document that explains the intracasies of this environment.
