I'm just starting out with PHP and Mysqlthe problem I have is this.
I have php 4.11 loaded and it works fine...I now want to create a
database...so I use Winsqladm and create the database...however there is no
mention of username and passworddo I have to then define and FSN in
Windows ODB
NT the particular user, with rights over the database.

I have windows 2000 server with PHP 4.1.0 and Mysql. I'm not quite sure how
PHP interelates with Mysql. Does PHP access Mysql directly? Or does it via
the Windows ODBC.
