I installed succesfully IIS V5.1 and PHP 4.2.1 under WinXP Professional.
After running my php scripts I got error "winsock.dll unusable. 1009". Can
you help me with this problem? Is there bad configuration of IIS or missing
paths in php.ini?

for reply" it should redirect to "index.php" in the index.php files is
the rest is html coding
i think this is a bug in internet explorer i'll try netscape to see what
happens ..

Do you have the Oracle client installed on that machine? The .dll that comes
with PHP merely acts a connector from PHP to the Oracles libraries. You need
to have the Oracle client package installed for it to work.

Nope. Double check your function's code. There might be something in there
that's gumming up the works. If you don't see anything wrong with it drop it

Speaking for myself, I end up using odbc_exec() rather than the combination
of odbc_prepare()/odbc_execute(). Just a personal preference.

It's because you're using \ . In PHP that's a special character release.
What you want to do then is to use a double \ within the file path.

I get these messages no matter which version of PHP (4.0.6 and 3.0.11) I
run. I had no issues hitting these datasources with MDAC 2.5. I can also
