as Tyrael suggested I would try to use a frameset with one frame at the top
containing the player and another one right below with the content of the web
page. But why avoiding using flash? Have a look at this page:

output is being redirected to a file or piped through a filter (find,
sort, etc.)
I'm using ANSI escape sequences to colour the output (all working very
nicely), but I want to suppress the codes if the output is being
filter
