First off, you may want to grab the latest version, but I don't think that
affects the problems you are having.
I would try removing everything PHP related and reinstall from scratch. The
beauty of the installer is that it not only installs all the files, but

I haven't had that experience and have used PHP with both IIS and Apache
on WinXP Pro. Have you tried re-installing though? Is there a reason
you're using IIS rather than Apache?
