Actually all versions of GD support JPEG and PNG. GIF is only supported by older versions of GD and the one I was refering to for PHP4. If you still use php3 you can look in the archive of this list at MARC, I seem to remember that someone asked for & found a php3 version of GD about 2 months ago.
