[PHP-INSTALL] Where are the errors?

For some reason, when I do something wrong with my code (PHP 5.0.3), it displays nothing, instead of "parse error", "fatal error", "syntax error", etc. Is there anything wrong with PHP's installation?   I'm running apache 2.0 on Windows XP
