I am trying to install PHP version 4.2.1 on redhat linux version 7.2
with mysql and apache version 2.0.35
The configure command used was:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/php/
--with-mysql=/srv/local/mysql/mysql-3.23.49a-pc-linux-gnu-i686
--with-xml\
--with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs -
including support for anything beyond stock php?

I'm having trouble compiling php 4.1.1 with Apache 1.3.23 on AIX 4.3.3. Apache is

My configure line is as follows:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/php_4.1.1
--with-apxs=/usr/local/apache_1.3.23/bin
I get the following error when I
make install
on for php.
apxs:Error: Unkown option: S
Usage: apxs -g -n
apxs -q ...
apxs -c blah blah blah blah more apxs stuff
make[1]: *** [install-sapi] Error 1
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1

Well, I just grabbed the cvs so I could play with php-gtk and wouldn't ya
know, the PHP CVS won't install the PHP header files!
Is there something I am missing or need to do? I have php installed just fine
and working (from CVS), but I kind of need the headers installed correctly :
