4.013 installed on a windows XP home Computer.
MySQL works, PHP works and Apache works when the following lines are not
added to the httpd.con

I have installed PHP 4.06 on my Sambar server. I NEED PHP Authentication, so I have
configured it manually on my NT machine, but the Auth still does not work - it never
sets the PHP_AUTH_USER and PW variables when the 401 box pops up, so it doesn't check
what's entered against the correct names

I guess you are using ISAPI version, right?
I suggest to use CGI version for IIS.

I've set the folder to be executable so that it can read .php files, but I
