In "Manual PHP" by Bakken itc is written :

I have installed PHP 4.0.6 as CGI with
Netscape Enterprise Server 3.61 on HPUX 10.20.
The options I used to build it:
./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql
--enable-track-vars
--enable-libgcc
--enable-discard-path
Everything works fine EXCEPT
Works fine for me. I use the same php.ini for my DSO and my CGI build and
in there I have a bunch of extension=module.so entries. Works fine.
