While configuring PHP for my Sun UltraSparc/solaris 8, I recieved this
error of a missing library libpq.a.
I made a search on my machine for this file using command
find / -name "libpq*" -print
but could not find it. I am pasting this debug.log along with this mail...

Since I was installing on a fresh install of Redhat 7.0 and all the latest
of mysql and apache, etc. I went ahead and did a re-install of my whole
system to start from scratch. This time I did not install gd, libjpeg,
libpng ,etc from source. Instead I noticed that they all installed with
redhat

And you didn't have --with-ttf in your configure line? At least
in that debug.log it isn't, but did you try it before?

I have a P-75 w/32m ram running RedHat 6.0. After doing the
./configure I get "Something is likely to be screwed up here, ...".

I got freebsd 4.2-stable and I don't know why php is getting invalid LDFLAGS, it's not
/usr/local/lib/lib, its just /usr/local/lib...
