I have reinstalled php a few times making sure i used --with-mysql and the
mysql functions still don;t want to work. is there something i am not doing?
or perhapse any other ways i can access my database.

I posted earlier about the script seeming to hang and not giving the rest of
the html file. after commenting out everything except the very first mysql
function call it seems that it is the mysql finctions that seem to cause the
problems. Is there a line i have to include to load the functions or

error because it does simple php commands but if it tries to go through more
complex ones it shows the html up to the doesn't show up.
