Does anybody know the "trick" to upgrading GD lib from 1.8 to 2b and having
PHP recognize the upgrade and using it on the install. I tried everything I
could find on it, I'm
beginning to think I'm the only person who has a hard time installing gd lib
2.

I upgraded from PHP4.0.6 on Apache 1.3.20 with GDLib 1.8.4 to
PHP4.1.0 on Apache 1.3.22 with GDLib 1.8.4
everything was working fine before.. now no Jpeg support. I installed JPEG6b
first
as both shared and static. Included --with-jpeg on the PHP ./configure. I
had
jpeg support working fine befor
How do I establish an SSL socket connection with PHP?
I have PHP compiled in an Apache Mod_SSL server. Do I need to compile PHP
with
some sort of open_ssl option? I have --enable-sockets in the command line.
