my entire filesystem (all
the way from / !).
I'm not convinced that the php.ini file is being read either as safe_mod
seems to have no effect on anything.
I'm using Debian and PHP4, if some one could give me some pointers I'd
really appreciate it.

does anyone know why my $PHP_SELF shows the full path and not only the
name of the script? Something wrong with my php.ini?

Hello !
I'm running Apache 1.3.20 with PHP 4.0.6 as an Apache module, and I want to
define the user under PHP write files ( and have permissions).
I've installed Apache with suEXEC and I've defined User and Group in the
VirtualHost section, but it doesn't works :(
