Hi,
I had a look at the support site and actually found something.
Since they do not really encourage upgrading I'll go on with the old
version.
If somebody is concerned:

Hi,
I use a cobalt RAQ4 at my provider. The PHP-Version there is rather old, I
would like to upgrade it - but I'm not at all experienced with linux.
Therefore I would love to have a step-by-step explanation how to upgrade
PHP.
Any hints?
Thank's a lot,
Uwe

I tried to install apache 1.3.26 under Win98 on my laptop,
but all I'll get is the DOS-Box with the error message:
"make_sock: failed to get a socket for port 80"
I have no other process running which might use port 80 (as far as I know).
Is the problem perhaps, that there is NO network adapt

http://localhost/mywebs/test.php
so simple!
Thanks to Niklas Forsberg for the hint!!!

Hei Ostdeutschland,
I didn't know that Shift-Right-Klick makes a difference - thank's.
But anyhow: that's not the way it should work - and it doesn't.
Thank's for your help, I will try it with a new thread (on top of the list),

Hello Chris,
thank's for your answer!
When I call this program with doubleclick or from the commandline a DOS-Box
opens a lot of text is running through and the Box closes again.
When I pause the text-flood I can see that is a lot of HTML-Code - probably
the sourcecode of the PHP-Info-Website whi
