I've had the same issue on my IIS setup... its really odd however if you
click back and fourth on the executable path and the extension box a
couple times some of the buttons suddely becomes clickable again.
could you post a screen shot? if so I might be able to offer more exact
help.

Is it possible to change webhosts? honestly if your
webhost won't even let you load the domxml extension you're in big trouble if
you start getting into more advanced features. My host lets me build my own
custom php version to use however I want.
If they have a PHP5 plan you could use Sim
