I need to install PHP on a windows server. This will be my company intranet.
The IT manager moved the IIS webserver directory to drive (D:) instead of
(C:). He does not want me to use WAMP or XAMP server .exe(s) Now I have to
install phpadmin and php separately along with sql.

I have two Mandrake 9.1 machines with 4.3.1 installed. One is setup for
development and the other for testing. I downloaded and installed Firebird
Superserver 1.0.3 on both machines. On the development machine, I ran

I'm having a little bit of trouble getting a script to get processed by
apache/2.0.44 (win32) PHP/4.3.1
I've got it (it meaning apache/php/mysql) installed and everything seems to
be working fine, but...
when I enter the following url into my browser i simply get the text of the
script.

This is a clean install of RH 8.0
I have the net-snmp (previously ucd-snmp) setup and working great. I tried
to use the snmpget command through PHP, but it didn't work. Checked the
phpinfo for the --with-snmp stuff, and it wasn't there. Found the RPM for
this (php-snmp, that comes on Disk 3), i

You do have to install one yourself as far as I know.
Pick one of:
./php-4.0.6/php.ini-dist
./php-4.0.6/php.ini-optimized
and copy it to php.ini wherever you need it to be.

And as a side note... When you do
make INSTALL_ROOT=/somedir install
for PHP everything works fine except that it modifies /etc/httpd/httpd.conf
instead of /somedir/etc/httpd/httpd.conf which I think may just be a simple makefile
mistake.

The nice thing about Windows is - It does not just crash, it
EMOTE_ADDR. But if I do $IP = $REMOTE_ADDR it works fine. This also
happens with other environment variables as well. The getenv() also works
fine on my linux/apache setup too. But if anyone could help out with this
getenv() problem I would greatly appreciate it.
