Ok, PHP 4.3.4 compiles perfectly, as long as I don't include JPEG
support. Once I do, the compile fails, claiming it can't find
libjpeg.a, even though it exists.
My Setup:
PHP 4.3.4
Solaris 8 (SunOS 5.8)
jpeg-6b - freshly downloaded & compiled
My Configure line:
configure --with-apxs=/var/html/

Hey there, I've run PHP for a long while now, and just went to compile
4.3.1 and had a problem.
I'm running on Solaris 2.8, and unpacked php 4.3.1, ran the following
configure, and got the following ouput:
> configure --with-apxs=/var/html/apache/bin/apxs --with-gd
--with-jpeg-d=/opt/X11R5 --w
