What is your PATH?
either you have to put libmysql.dll in the windows directory or you will
have to add d:\PHP5 to the PATH

Where do you have the php_mysql.dll.
Please send us a copy of the php.ini file.
How many php.ini files do you have and whats the location of these?

I got to mention that I am using Windows and I fear for, what will happen
when extension dll's get loaded.

I have until now installed PHP4 and PHP5 simultanously. So far it works.
But I fear, that when I am beginning to use some of the extensions a
conflict could occur.
Has anybody a comment to that?
