The phpMyAdmin 3.1.5 documentation says that, if at all possible, I
should
1. Download the latest versions of PHP and MySQL so that they will
work with phpMyAdmin 3.1.5
2. Make sure I have the requirements listed below (see Requirements
below)
I am a newbie with all this, and I am hoping so
phpinfo.php though works fine.
If this function can not be found do I have to include or activate something
in addition ?

I installed Mysql, Apache and php4.0.6 with SuseLinux 7.1. After quite a
bit of pain everything works EXCEPT for... I don't find the brackets on the
French keyboard of my portable (mac powerbook) computer !
Not these{ } nor ( ) but the flat ones.
