Well I think I found a workaround. I cannot seem to get php to use the
expat 2 library while compiling. So what I did was move libexpat.so.0 to
libexpat.so.0.bak. Then I made a link libexpat.so.0 -> 1ibexpat.so.1.5.0
This seems to work okay on my test machine. If anyone knows how to get
php to
#x27;--enable-bcmath' '--enable-exif' '--enable-ftp' '--enable-magic-quotes'
'--enable-sockets' '--enable-sysvsem' '--enable-sysvshm'
'--enable-track-vars' '--enable-trans-sid' '--enable-yp' '--enable-wddx'
'--with-pear=/usr/share/pear' '--with-imap=shared' '--with-imap-ssl'
'--with-kerberos' '--with-ldap=shared' '--with-mysql=shared,/usr'
'--with-snmp=shared,/usr' '--with-snmp=shared' '--enable-ucd-snmp-hack'
'--with-unixODBC=shared,/usr' '--enable-memory-limit' '--enable-shmop'
'--enable-calendar' '--enable-dbx' '--enable-dio'
'--enable-mbstring=shared' '--enable-mbstr-enc-trans' '--enable-mbregex'
'--with-mime-magic=/usr/share/file/magic.mime' '--with-pic'
'--with-apxs2=/usr/sbin/apxs'
Thanks Brett Knapik
I have never requested to be placed upon this mailing
list or whatever this is. I have been trying for
several weeks to make contact with whoever is running
it to have my e-mail address removed and been
unsuccessful. My inbox is being filled with these
messages of PHP whatever it is. I request that
Did you add the entries to httpd.conf exactly as you typed in your message?
If so, they are incorrect.
You MUST use LoadModule BEFORE you use AddModule, so what you typed would be
incorrect:
-->AddModule mod_php4.c
-->LoadModule php4_module "c:/php/sapi/php4apache2.dll"
AddType application/x-httpd
Can anyone help I followed all inst. in the books I have and in the dl
documents that came with Php but when I try a page it bombs

I'm having a similar problem. My main goal is to get imap & mysql support.
I've tried it without the kerberos & imap ssl lines but it seems imap
requires it. Here's the error I get.
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgssapi_krb5
