At the bottom of my httpd.conf file was an include to httpd.include
I should have seen this earlier.
In there, there were more things to change regarding the switch between
php4 and php5. I just made a new copy of everything that said with .

I was able to successfully install PHP 4.3.7RC1 on this server just
yesterday.
Now I'd like to have PHP5 on the server to start using some of the new
XML features. Everything installs fine, with no errors, but when I
actually try to load a PHP page, apache is not processing it as a PHP
