Ok. That machine will also have a mail server installed. PHP uses that
mail server (via the sendmail_path set in php.ini) to send mail.

Maybe I should have been abit more specific. I want to use a PHP forum on my
webserver, which has Slackware Kinux 9.1 installed on it. My webserver is at
home and is going to have a dynamic DNS hostname (eg no-ip.com) Any ideas on
configuring the server?
