Hi there!
I've got a question to my Apache 1.3.29 + PHP 4.3.5 installation. I noticed
that the server file httpd is suddenly much bigger then it used to be,
before i installed the PHP module.
It used to be ~600KB big, but now httpd is around 5MB big. This brings some
trouble with the RAM on my Cob

I went to build php with:

yikes - I just reread what I wrote and the second sentence had magically
changed to 'with-gd' so I guess my eyes were all hazed over from reading
though a bazillion messages on the topic. sorry about that. I'll see
if I can get that to work...

I think the option is actually '--with-gd', not '--enable-gd'.
Worked for me. Hope this helps.

Hi,
when i try php.exe - on the comand prompt, i get the source code of the
page.however if i try running phpinfo(); , it gives a cgi timeout. the error
was CGI Timeout. The application exceeded its allocated time limit to
execute.the server has deleted the process.
I tried all help files etc, but
No, that's doesn't seem to be the problem. libc-client.a is where it's
supposed to be. I've tried softlinking and copying c-client.a to
libc-client.a. Both ways the build process works flawlessly. The
error occurs when I try to start Apache.
If PHP had trouble locating libc-client.a, wouldn't conf

Check if you have the c-client library "libc-client.a" in
/usr/local/imap-2002e/lib
If not, you have to:
cd /usr/local/imap-2002e/lib
ln -s c-client.a libc-client.a
