OK I cleaned out my first install PHP folder & copied over the unzipped
folder again. All the configured stuff should be in apache & php.ini
elsewhere. Then I read through the install.txt again real careful &
updated my notes here:

I guess I've got the thing installed, I did the apache httpd.config
changes and got that to load without err
I've got the same problem with:
OS: AIX 5.2
Compiler: cc (/usr/vacpp/bin/cc 6.0.0.0)
PHP: php-4.3.4
I've tryed some workaround founs in the forum as setting
build_libtool_libs=yes in libtool file where it was set to no, without
any success.

for ldap_connect("ldaps://mydir/") is OpenLDAP an requirement ? a must have
? or should it work with Netscapes LDAP SDK too ?
